We celebrated Carrie's b-day a few months early this year,as her sister Abby will have a bundle of joy at the real time. Abby had a great idea to make it an extra special 30th for her. Josh was able to book us a fancy suite in aNew York City hotel and we took her out for pasta(one of her favorites) at the famous chef Lydia's restaurant BECCO close by! It was such a fun girls weekend!

Spunky passed away shortly after this picture was taken. He took one last swim in the family hot tub! Spunky held a special spot in the Gill's hearts and he left a special stain on our couch for us to remember the babysitting days when Mama and Papa were travelling.

The fam met up in Johnstown,PA for cousin Tina's wedding. Our weekend was super busy with the wedding,family party the next day,trip to the Flood Museum and a car ride past Josh's grandparents home where his mom grew up. At night, everyone met up at the local Folk Festival and a ride on the Incline...

I came home from work last week to find these boxes with holes in the them,sitting on the floor of our garage. That handsome handyman who lives with me on Park Ave built the game Cornhole! Have you played? My brothers wife Jacque knew all about it. It's totally fun! I'm dreadful at it,but it's full of laughs and that is all that matters. So.. Josh has us playing it quite often these days!

This is our 3rd Sale on Park Ave-The neighbors are probably ready to give us the boot! ;-) No joke- this is how my best buddy Abby and I make our extra stash for our Estate-shopping Saturdays,one of our favorite past times as married ladies. We truly love it and our husbands don't mind that we find great things so cheap... It's pretty amazing.. You all should try it sometime! Last week I found a tree hook for a hanging plant for $1.00!!

We all headed out to Western ,PA this past weekend for David & Jacque's big wedding! There were 11 bridesmaids and 11 groomsmen.. and we thought our wedding party was huge! The wedding was in a very quaint town and many of us stayed in cottages,B&B's and the local Ramada Inn. The rehearsal dinner consisted of 80 people! Quite a celebration to begin the weekend festivities and have all of our families meet.

Josh has become quite a woodworker lately... He is quite talented and anytime I can't find him on a saturday afternoon he is working away in his woodshop. He made me this beautiful coffee table for Christmas. How sweet is that?! I love it dearly. He also made a place for us to store our shoes in the kitchen-still working on the top part for the coats.

We spent about 3 days in the Bahamas for our anniversary before flying over to West Palm Beach with the rest of the Gills! The weather was so beautiful,but the water was freezing. We jumped in one day and jumped right out a second later.

After picking me up from the airport in florida, Josh surprised me with a night at a cute hotel in town. We flew down there for a B-day weekend for Josh's grandpa Lou. It is so beautiful down there. The whole Gill fam flew in to celebrate. The water is so blue there!

We squished in 4 couples and rented Abby's grandpa's house for the week. It was a lot of fun, filled with relaxing book reading days at the beach,late dinners and ice cream runs. We could not ask for a better group of friends. The Lord has provided this wonderful family of friends for us to grow with.
